Trusted navigator. Fairy God-sister. Those are a few of the monikers that Leslie’s friends use to describe her. Former lawyer would be in there too, until she grew weary of the pursuit of the billable hour and realized her interest in and intuitive sense for real estate was what really fueled her passion. She made the career shift and never looked back—she didn’t have time to. She quickly became a top producer in the Charleston area.
Leslie's deep knowledge of local history and her love of Charleston community, combined with a genuine desire for helping people love where they live, make her an ideal partner to guide clients through solid property investment decisions. Passionate, hardworking, and discreet, Leslie offers expert guidance through the entire process of either buying or selling a home.
As a listing agent, she knows how to successfully position and sell properties, thanks to spending nearly a decade developing effective marketing and sales strategies for CNN, TNT, and Cartoon Network, both domestically and internationally (back when cable was cool). She’s got a knack for creating marketing efforts that reach the right consumer, and the know-how to real them in.
When working as a buyer's agent, Leslie works tirelessly to find the right property for each client. As a licensed attorney and certified mediator, she aggressively negotiates on her clients' behalf to get the deal done, and assists clients in navigating complex real estate transactions. She can explain the basics of a real estate contract as easily as she can deconstruct a complicated easement on a property.
A resident of downtown Charleston since 2001, Leslie is intimately familiar with the hidden gems of Charleston. She loves exploring the Lowcountry with her two children, and considers it a privilege to live in the best town in America. She was a proud steward of two beautiful 19th century homes, and is thrilled that in her new rowhouse, none of the windows are painted shut. Plus, she knows a thing or two about bringing people together—just ask her about her infamous Spoleto parties.
MARY LOU WERTZ
A pro with 25 years of experience spearheading real estate ventures both domestically and internationally, Mary Lou has received numerous industry awards, including the “2017 Realtors of Distinction Platinum Recipient” from Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. She knows it all comes down to one thing: taking the time to understand her clients’ needs then using her industry knowledge, patience, and negotiating skills to convert those needs and hopes into reality. Having fun along the way is a Mary Lou must.
A native New Yorker and graduate of Villanova University, she worked in corporate accounting for leading firms like Deloitte Haskins and Sells, Salomon Brothers, and Teeman Kinary, before pausing to raise her three children. In Connecticut and later in London, she bought, renovated, and sold houses, and during her decade as an expat in London, she solidified her love for architectural beauty, history, fine food, and culture, all of which translated perfectly to Charleston when her family repatriated in the mid 1990s. She bought her first Lowcountry property in 1998, and since then has had the privilege of helping hundreds of others find their Charleston area dream home.
Mary Lou and her husband David love being active in the community, and support Historic Charleston Foundation, the Preservation Society of Charleston, and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, among other organizations. She is currently a founding board member of Good Friends of the Lowcountry and a supporter of MUSC – CDAP (Center for Drug + Alcohol Program).
When not closing real estate deals, Mary Lou plays golf, tennis, and shoots skeet, and enjoys spending time with David at the Kiawah Island Club, Briars Creek, and the Stanwich Club.
REALTOR AND FOUNDER
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Olga brings a vibrant cross-cultural spirit to the Maison team, as well as a fluency in Spanish. Her family moved to Miami when she was ten and Olga developed impressive skills as an equestrian competing on a national level. She’s a graduate of the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) and worked for many years in pharmaceutical, healthcare and account management where she honed her sales and marketing skills.
She developed a passion for building and renovating homes in Washington, DC, and then in Charleston, where she has lived for 25 years. Her most recent projects include restoring a 1790 home South of Broad and an 1850 home in Harleston Village. Both homes have been included in the Historic Preservation Society’s annual tour of significant Charleston homes. She feels fortunate to have built a successful real estate career by combining her love of architecture, the Charleston area and her commitment to excellence with her many clients.
Personalized service is Olga’s hallmark. Her loyalty, integrity and attention to detail are the foundations of her exceptional customer service. She has extensive experience throughout the Lowcountry. Working with Olga is more than completing a transaction; its about building long-lasting relationships. Many of her clients have worked with her on multiple transactions and have become close friends.
Olga loves spending time outdoors with her family, seven dogs (yes, 7!) and riding her horses. She and her fiancé recently completed construction of their dream home on Bohicket Creek and are active supporters of Sea Islands Habitat for Humanity and the Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic. Olga feels fortunate to live in the Charleston area where finding a good balance between her career and family life comes naturally.

Jennifer loves discovering the layers of story and generational connection that are the fabric of historic properties, and she particularly loves working with buyers who value that sense of place and character inherent in an older home.. She’s been a leader and innovator in the Charleston real estate market for years, as cofounder of Ibis, Inc. a historic real estate development partnership, and as founder of the commercial division of Domicile Real Estate in 2007. Through her depth of experience, she’s honed a keen analytic eye for pairing key investors with opportune properties. She’s also a whiz with tax credits and conservation easements—always a plus when dealing with historic properties.
During her tenure at Ibis, Jennifer purchased, restored, and marketed more than 20 historic properties, many of which have been featured in House Beautiful, The New York Times, and Home Style , and the company won the prestigious South Carolina Honor Award for Historic Preservation. This passion for preservation and protecting the history and charm of Charleston drives Jennifer’s desire to pair prospective owners with the right property—one they’ll love and care for. It’s also why she’s an active community leader, serving on the boards of The Coastal Conservation League, The Palmetto Conservation Foundation, and the Historic Beaufort Foundation.
Eleanor grew up in Charleston’s historic district, and has a deep affinity for the area’s neighborhoods and homes, many of which she’s proud to have paired with new owners during her 15-year real estate tenure as a multimillion-dollar producer. Her work ethic, experience, and expertise is matched only by her sense of humor and attention to detail. A recipient of the Realtor of Distinction award, she is highly regarded by peers and clients for her savvy and personalized service, whether helping first-time buyers navigate the market, assisting seasoned investors score the perfect property, or finding prestige properties for the high-end buyer.
Before launching her Charleston real estate career, first as a sales associate with Lane and Smythe Real Estate and then with Lois Lane Properties, Eleanor spent 16 years as an owner and director of various art galleries in New York City. She is well versed in the tastes and interests of Charleston’s high-end clientele, and has her own passion for art, music, and literature. Eleanor enjoys giving back to the community by serving on local non-profit boards, including Camp Happy Days, Preservation Society of Charleston, and Allegro Charter School of Music.
Allie fell for Charleston after landing here in 2012 to play soccer for the College of Charleston Cougars. We’ll call that a score. After graduating, she made Charleston her home and went to work combining her interest in the city’s history and architecture with her passion for real estate. It is her true delight to help people find their dream homes. As our Masion millennial, she’s also a natural at marketing and community relations.
